How sports TV & streaming work in the United States
US sports rights mix national networks, regional sports networks (RSNs), team apps, and out-of-market league passes. Blackouts are common — local and national telecasts usually cannot be streamed on League Pass / MLB.TV style products in-market.
- Regional RSNs or team apps cover most NBA/MLB home games.
- National windows (ESPN, TNT, ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS…) are tip-off specific.
- League Pass / MLB.TV / NHL packages are for out-of-market fans.
- WatchLive lists official outlets only and links out — we never host streams.
